Frequently asked questions
Yes. Open Settings, then Billing, and switch plans in the customer portal. A downgrade or a cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep your current plan until then.
Checkout is handled by our payment provider, and the methods it offers you are shown there. The currency and the exact amount appear before you pay, and your full card number never reaches us.
Any trial period is shown on the pricing page and again at checkout. Where none is shown, the plan starts as a paid subscription straight away and renews automatically until you cancel.
Consumers in the UK and the EU have a statutory 14-day right to cancel, and we do not ask you to give it up. On top of that, a first subscription is refunded within 14 working days of purchase, less a proportionate deduction for the part of the period you have already had. Renewals are not normally refunded, though we look at every request individually.
Cancel at any time from Settings, then Billing, in the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until that date, and we do not charge you again after it. If you cannot reach the portal, email us from the address on your account and we will cancel for you.
We do not send renewal reminders ourselves. Our payment provider sends receipts, and renewal notices to the extent that it supports them, to the email address held for your account. The date your current period ends is always shown in Settings, under Billing.
Email us or use the contact form. We acknowledge messages within 3 working days, and billing enquiries within 3 working days with the aim of settling them within 5. Formal data protection requests are answered within 30 calendar days.
There is no delete button inside the product. Email us from the address on your account and we will close it and delete your personal data within 30 days, with backups rolling off shortly after. Invoice records are kept for longer where tax law requires it; the retention table has the exact periods.
